China Black Tea
Help your customers discover the exotic malty depths of China’s famous black teas. Known primarily for green tea, Chinese growers began producing black varieties to meet emerging demand from the UK during the age of colonialism.
Known for wiry, well-shaped leaves, China’s black teas never fail to impress. Each of these is selected at its seasonal peak, from sustainable tea farms.
Discover something flavorful for caffeine sensitive customers. Our decaf teas are created using a Chemical Free C02 Process. As the name suggests, no chemicals touch the tea at any point during the farming or production.
Instead, caffeine is leached from the leaf using natural C02. All that’s left over is rich tea flavor so complete, it’s fooled Masters in blind taste tests. Can you taste the difference? We can’t taste the difference.
Discover England with Metropolitan Tea. To celebrate Britain’s rich relationship with tea, our Tea Masters have developed a line of specialty blends inspired by the island nation and her role in the global tea trade.
From our industry-leading English, Irish, and Scottish Breakfast teas, we’ve got mornings covered. All Discovery Packs are vacuum-packed in Canada and ready for immediate global shipping.
Like single malt Scotch, Estate teas are unblended, pure examples of perfection from individual tea gardens. Each exhibits the unique characteristics of the terroir in which it was grown, the season in which it was plucked, and the style in which it was produced.
All Discovery Pack Estate teas are picked and produced on Tea Estates with flawless track records of social responsibility and sustainable environmental practices. We wouldn’t buy or sell anything else.
Flavored Green Tea
Loose leaf green teas were first blended centuries ago in China. Tea artisans, looking to add value to their offering developed intricate methods of creating fruit and floral blends to tempt taste buds and woo market customers.
Our world-class selection of flavored green teas offers a modern twist on this age-old tradition. Discovery Packs make it even easier to introduce customers to the pleasures of drinking these flavored green wonders.
Rooibos, otherwise known as red tea, is only grown commercially in South Africa’s Cederberg district. Harvested for millennia by the indigenous San people, Rooibos is rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. It also takes flavoring exceptionally well.
To make our Flavored Rooibos Discovery Packs, we’ve taken luxury grade leaf and blended it with a selection of 100% all-natural flavors. Free of caffeine, but high in character, these are an excellent way to offer your customers a healthy alternative to sugary bottled drinks.
Loose Leaf Green Tea
According to many nutritionists, green tea is the healthiest beverage in the world. It is loaded with antioxidants and contains six types of catechins including ECGC. (No wonder the Chinese have been drinking it for thousands of years.)
Our Discovery Packs were designed to help introduce new customers to the wonders of green tea. Beautifully packaged for impulse purchases, this is one pick-me-up your customers won’t feel guilty about.
Herb + Fruit
Looking for an amazing alternative to sugary sodas and soft drinks? Look no further. Long-standing crowd favorites, these Organic Herb+Fruit blends offer natural sweetness, and come packed with vitamins and antioxidants. They’re also great hot or over ice.
The best part? Kids love ‘em! An excellent way to help new customers discover the joy and variety loose leaf teas.
Strictly speaking, herbal tea isn’t actually tea. Rather, the fragrant infusions made from herbs are known as tisanes. Some are good for sleeping while others stimulate the senses or offer physically stimulating properties.
Many herbal teas also contain significant levels of vitamins, antioxidants, polyphenols and more. Of course, they are also delicious. Discover the rich, satisfying world of luxury herbals.
Natural Tea is produced by halting production halfway through the CTC (cut, tear & curl) production process. The result is a wonderfully rich cup, with a raw loose appearance and flavory profile, peppered with notes of sweet malt.
We’ve curated a selection of the best of these to help fill your collection with something extraordinary. The next time a customer asks, “Got anything special?” Naturally, you’ll have just the thing. Available in black and green varieties.
Known as semi-fermented teas, Oolongs are oxidized for less time than black teas, but more than green teas. The resulting floral character has led many Tea Masters to put the Oolongs at the top of the list of the world’s greatest teas. But don’t take our word for it, discover these superior tea classics for yourself.
Luxury grade Organic teas are grown according to strict agricultural guidelines. They do not contain any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. Soil fertility is replenished and maintained using natural means. The land surrounding organic tea gardens is protected and biodiversity is nurtured.
From our Canadian tasting room to the world, we’ve developed these Specialty blends with smooth sipping in mind. Crafted with 100% organically grown tea, herbs, flowers and spices, these blends hit all the right notes. Discover the magic for yourself.
The world’s first commercially viable white teas came from two bush varietals discovered in Fujian in the 1700s - Da Bai and Da Hao. Early artisans plucked unfurled tea leaves still covered in a fine white down, and developed a sun-drying process that is still used to this day. Soft, delicate and floral, these delicate teas capture the nuance and sweet earthiness of the terroir in which they were harvested. Absolutely stunning.
