Safe stainless - all stainless steel is not created equally
As
mentioned, 18/8 grade Stainless steel is approved

Follow these easy instructions and your stainless steel teapot will last for ages.
First time use
- Rinse teapot thoroughly.
- Brew a very strong pot of tea and let it sit for 12 hours. This will season the specially designed teapot interior. This seasoning will deepen the flavor profile of your teas.
Daily use
- After use, empty remaining tea and give the teapot and spout a good rinse.
- Don’t wash stainless steel teapots. Washing the teapot with soap may remove the interior seasoning and alter the flavor of your tea.
- The filter basket may be washed from time to time. Take care to thoroughly rinse any soap residue that may be left in the mesh weave.
- The body of a stainless teapot may be hot. Avoid touching it when in use.
- Try to avoid bumping the spout. Doing so can loosen the seal between the spout and teapot body.
