Unlike those from Assam and Darjeeling, Nilgiri teas, India’s third most important crop, are plucked throughout the year. Tea grows surrounded by eucalyptus, blue gum and cypress. Close proximity to these plants imparts hints of mint, citrus and eucalyptus.
