Annual audits – Metropolitan undergoes an annual audit to ensure that all C-TPAT processes and documentation are maintained.
C-TPAT general principle:
The C-TPAT program was implemented by US Customs and Border Protection to ensure the secure transport of goods across US borders. Participation in C-TPAT means that Metropolitan Tea plays an active role in the war on terrorism. As border controls tighten, C-TPAT compliance ensures the swift shipment of our goods across international borders.
